Government Sponsorship(click to read).

Ugandan government has been sponsoring some well performing students to access university education.
some people have come out to criticise this scheme saying that its only the children of the rich who access this
opportunity.
But look at it this way, the poor are people who live on less than one dollar a day. people who live on more than one dollar e.g. two dollars are regarded as rich. trust me most ugandans live on less than 6 dollars a day.are they in position to really educate their children.

Who should educate the children of the country?

Most students on government sponsorship are those who have not got the courses they had innitially desired .
These people actually take on the sponsorships because they cannot afford private education. They settle for less.

Government should instead improve on it, ask more cooperate companies to fund the students. In fact private sponsorship should be reduced and government sponsorship increased.
